Fulltiming - US?????

Gary and Peggy Soon-to-be Full-time RVers

Gary and Peggy Soon-to-be Full-time RVers

My husband and I are bored in Sarasota. We want to sell our home and cars, and get a fifth wheel and truck, and travel full time. Frankly, we're scared to death. SOMEBODY tell me it's gonna be OK. Where do we start?

Yes, You! You Can Be Full-Time RVers

Hi Peggy and Gary,

As long as you want it, you will do fine. You can learn as you go. RVers are a friendly bunch. We (the RVing community) will teach you the ropes.

Bob (my hubby) and I didn't know what we were doing when we started. We didn't have camping or RVing experience. The old cliche, "if we can do it, so can you," is true.

You'll find a lot of info online. There are also getting to be a lot of books about full-time RVing. RVers are a diverse group so you'll find some conflicting information. What's right for you depends on your personalities and what you want out of full-time RVing.

A good place to start is with an Escapees RV Club Club membership. That was one of the first things we did and it helped immensely.

We Just Did It
by: Motty and Patti

Hi Gary and Peggy,

My wife, Patti, and I have just started this venture this fall and we absolutely love it. The more you are into it, the more you realize how much fun it is. The community is so friendly and supportive, and lending advice and help. Truth is we did not even plan for that - it just became reality that we decided to keep.

You can read our story in our Blog here:

Hope you will enjoy your venture
Marry Christmas and Happy new year!
