Great Smoky Mountains National Park

by An RVer headed to GSMNP
(Fort Pierce, FL)

Which camping spots in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are your favorites? Can you give me some recommendations, please? What things do you consider as "must do" or "must see" there?

Camp Sites at Smoky Mtn National Park
by: Linda

I have not been there in a few years now but CADES COVE is a MUST see and camping there is great because you can then ride bikes on the 11-mile loop or drive it early when the animals are out!

We have also camped at Cosby and Balsam Mountain, which I believe are right in Smoky Mtn National Park or right on the edge.

ENJOY...it is beautiful there.

Thanks. We spent four nights at Elkmont and got to see a momma bear nursing her two cubs just up from our campsite!
