Turkey Creek RV Village makes a fine headquarters while taking in the sights and sounds of Branson, MO. It is a pet friendly campground and has Internet access. It is clean and reasonably priced.
We stayed at Turkey Creek RV Village in late November and early December. That is apparently their slow time. The only planned activity I'm aware of at the park was a jam session one evening; the last for the season.
But, with all that is going on in Branson and Silver Dollar City, we certainly didn't lack for something to do. I'd say it was an ideal time to visit. The campground wasn't crowded. Branson was full of holiday festivities. Silver Dollar city had amazing light displays and special Christmas programs.
Turkey Creek RV Village is an Escapee Club park. It is open to the public on a space available basis. The two ladies working in the office were pleasant.
The clubhouse was quiet when we were there, but I suspect that changes during the busy season. There is a library where you may trade your books for others. There's a TV. We made use of the bargain table, donating some items and buying a few others. They have a menu book, with menus from local restaurants. If you haven't picked up enough brochures on the various shows and attractions in the area, you'll find a large rack full of them. Clubhouse hours vary and some days close very early.
They partner with a ticket service so that you may have show tickets delivered to the park. The prices on many of them are discounted. You get a list of the shows and call the number shown on the list to order your tickets, paying for them with a credit card. That evening, the tickets are delivered to the park's drop box. In the morning, you pick them up at the campground office. We bought Silver Dollar City tickets through them and they were good for two days instead of one -- and yes, there was enough happening at Silver Dollar City that we went for both days.
It is a neat and well cared for campground. The laundry facilities are clean and basic, and very reasonably priced. The showers are clean.
This RV park is pet friendly.
The park has Internet access. You may take your laptop to the clubhouse and use the free modem hook-up there. Or, if you want to be online from your site, they do have wifi access available for purchase via Tengo Internet.
My cell phone worked in this park, including the data reception.
Member rates are $15 per night for a site with water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. There are discounts available, if you plan to stay for a week or longer.
