What are you doing for Thanksgiving dinner? I'd love to hear about your holiday plans, for Thanksgiving and for whatever other holidays you celebrate while RVing.

This year, we're opting for a quiet Thanksgiving Day at home. The plan is to have a simple day reflecting on all that we have and on all the good in our lives. We are greatly blessed.

RV Show News: Quartzsite's Huge RV Show Readies for Its 30th Year

From a tiny, Arizona-desert town springs what promoters say is the largest RV show in North America. The 30th Annual Quartzsite Sports, Vacation, & RV Show runs from January 19-27, 2013. If you've never been to Quartzsite during the winter, it really is something to see. RVs, RVers, and RV related stuff are everywhere, mixed in with flea markets and rock and gem shows.

Thanksgiving Dinner for RVers: Making the Traditional Turkey and Other Options

Thanksgiving dinner…. You're RVing, so how do you go about preparing this annual feast? Here are some ideas and tips that will have you enjoying a delicious meal, even though your kitchen is tiny.

If you have the type of lights in your RV that have two sections, put a brighter bulb in one side and a smaller watt light bulb in the other. Use one side for general room lighting and the other side for a night light. When you need brighter lights, such as for reading, use them both.

Large binder clips, the kind you get at an office supply store, have all sorts of uses in an RV. Closing chip bags. Hanging up gloves to dry. Keeping receipts together so they don't get lost. Clamping a tablecloth to a picnic table. Etc.
